KML to EUDR GeoJSON
Drew your plots in Google Earth or received a KML/KMZ from a supplier? Convert it to a WGS-84 GeoJSON that the EUDR Information System accepts. KML is already in WGS-84, so no reprojection is needed — we just convert the placemarks and validate them.
CSV · KML · KMZ · zipped shapefile (.zip) · WKT · GeoJSON
Applies to CSV / WKT / GeoJSON. KML and shapefiles are reprojected automatically.
…or paste text (CSV / WKT / GeoJSON)
🔒 Conversion runs entirely in your browser — your files are never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it support KMZ?
- Yes. KMZ is a zipped KML — upload the .kmz directly and the embedded KML is extracted and converted in your browser.
- Will placemark names become plot ids?
- Placemark names and other KML fields are carried over as feature properties, so a name becomes usable as a plot identifier.
- My KML has points for large plots. Is that a problem?
- Possibly. EUDR requires a polygon for plots over 4 hectares. After conversion the validator flags any point that should be a boundary polygon.
